Another twinkling trophy to add to the Bexy Boo mantelpiece
Feathers, beads and 1920’s glamour summed up my evening at the Henries in the glittering surroundings of the Lancaster Hotel last Thursday 8th October. And to add to the excitement of this glitzy evening, I actually WON. I won a Henries Award. It still hasn’t sunk in quite yet as you can imagine. The award itself, nestled next to me whilst writing this blog, has to be the most impressive award I have ever seen; shiny silver, gargantuan in size and incredibly heavy too. With my name and company beautifully inscribed on the front, it had to be one of the proudest moments in my life when I climbed the steps to the stage with trepidation, to collect it.
So the award is for Best hand finished / hand made range in the UK for my 24 strong Scrabbley Neon Range.
It is the most recent of my ranges (despite Spring that has just been launched) and one that I am extremely proud of. It shows that my designs are progressing and developing, still with the scrabbley theme that I have become renowned for, and that I am now happily integrating myself into this wonderfully creative UK greeting card Industry.
Our wonderful local paper, the Knutsford Guardian also shared in my excitement by writing a fabulous article. It has been nice feeling just a little bit famous for a few days whilst walking through our town.
